AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Predictions

AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Predictions

All Elite Wrestling head to Arther Ashe Stadium on Wednesday 22nd September for Dynamite. On the same night, they will be taping that Friday’s Rampage. The matches announced ahead of both shows are big enough caliber matches that it could be a pay-per-view event. AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Is already the highest attended AEW show in history and we predict the outcome of the matches.

Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson

Tony Khan is wasting no time in delivering a dream match with Danielson’s first AEW opponent. With Championship opportunities granted mainly by the ranking system. The match will be contested without Omega’s AEW World Championship. I believe we will see Omega come out on top in this match. The Elite will interfere to help Omega. I wouldn’t be surprised to see The Elite do a beatdown at the end of the show allowing Hangman Adam Page to make a triumphant return.

Winner: Kenny Omega

FTR vs Darby Allin and Sting

FTR is one of the greatest tag teams on the planet right now. They deserve to be in the Tag Team Championship hunt. With this FTR will pick up the win and handing Sting his first loss in AEW, possibly with Allin being pinned to continue a losing narrative for Darby. This will allow him to blame Sting for his continued losing streak in the future and an eventual match between the two.

A win for FTR also allows them to continue to raise the rankings. This will lead to an eventual championship match against the Lucha Brothers.

Winners: FTR

Cody Rhodes vs Malakai Black

Malakai Black has been defeating the Nightmare Family for a few weeks and Cody is back to exact revenge. Black winning seems a better fit for his character and future but I can see Cody picking up the win to gain revenge.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

AEW Women Championship Match

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D vs Ruby Soho

Ruby Soho has made an immediate impact since she arrived at All Out. Winning the Casino Battle Royale, she has earned herself a shot at the Women’s Championship. Champion Britt Baker is becoming one of the most over wrestlers on the roster. This will be a fantastic match and showcase how under-utilized Soho was in WWE. Baker’s reign will come to an end one day but this night won’t be it.

Winner and still AEW Women’s Champion: Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D

MJF vs Brian Pillman Jr

This is arguably Brian Pillman’s biggest match of his career but MJF has just come off a big loss to Chris Jericho. MJF is the biggest heel in the company who continues to get a negative reaction no matter what he says or does. MJF will pick up the win here to give him more animation against the crowd going forward.

Winner: MJF

On the show, we will also see a live interview with CM Punk, which will continue to build up for his match against Powerhouse Hobbs on Friday Rampage. I would also expect to see a vignette continuing the story between God’s Favorite Champion Miro and Sammy Guevara.
