Albert Pujols Will Retire After This Season

Albert Pujols has played 20 MLB seasons and will without question be in the Hall of Fame. First ballot as well. Albert played 11 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, and nine seasons with Los Angeles Angels. People say this season will be his last MLB season.

Albert’s Career

Albert is a two-time World Series Champion, three-time MVP, ten-time All-Star, a Rookie of the year, six-time Silver Slugger, and a two-time Gold Glove Award. He has also received the Hank Aaron Award twice, the Roberto Clemente Award, and was an NL batting champion in 2003. It’s safe to say Pujols had an amazing career with all the achievements that he has been awarded.

Albert’s legacy will live on well after he leaves the MLB. He had a huge impact on and off the diamond. Pujols is one of the greatest first basemen and one of the greatest baseball players of All Time.
