Five Bold Predictions For Sunday’s Week 15 Games

We are heading for another wild Sunday of NFL football. We even have a few games going on Saturday. Today, I will be giving you all 5 bold predictions I have for the games on Sunday. The last time I did this, only about one or two of my predictions actually happened. There are so many great games on tomorrow that it’s hard to really predict what will happen but I’m going to try:

Prediction #1- Tom Brady will throw for 4 TD’s and over 350 yards

The Falcons secondary is obviously amongst the bottom of the league, but there is more beyond that as to why Brady will have his best game as a Buc against them. He may be without his starting RB in Ronald Jones, so he will be forced to throw the ball more than usual, to begin with. Brady has a lot of history with the Falcons, leading back to the famous Super Bowl where Brady and the Pats came all the way back to win from a 28-3 deficit. Brady will have to do most of the heavy lifting for the Buccaneers to get the victory here, and after this, they will be looking forward to clinching a playoff spot for January.

Prediction #2- Derrick Henry gets 200 rushing yards or more vs the Lions

The Lions are one of the worst run defenses in all of football, and they are going up against the best running back in football; seems like a recipe for disaster if you’re on the Lions’ defense. Henry not only leads the league in rushing by a decent amount, but he’s also making a real case as the MVP. This Titans offense runs through Henry, when he struggles, there’s very little that they can do to produce points. This is a perfect game for Henry to pad his stats and improve his MVP case.

Prediction #3- Cam Newton will throw for over 100 yards passing in a Patriots win

It’s no secret that Cam and the offense have been struggling this year with a very on and off production rate. The Dolphins also have one of the best secondaries in football so this really seems like a matchup nightmare for New England. However, we must realize that in the last 9 games that coach Bill has faced a rookie QB, the Pats are 9-0. As great as Tua is and as great as Tua will be in this league, he may be in for a rough game tomorrow against the greatest coach of all time. Cam is due for a game where he throws it a lot, and I believe that will be tomorrow. In perhaps one of the biggest upsets of the weekend, both Cam and the Pats will prevail in Miami.

Prediction #4- The Washington Football Team will be held to less than 100 yards in the air

Alex Smith will not be playing for Washington on Sunday. When he has been in this season, that is when their offense has been at their best. Running back Antonio Gibson looks doubtful for this game as well, so it will all be put on QB Dwayne Haskins, who head coach Ron Rivera benched at the beginning of the year. It’s hard to tell what level of confidence there is in him, but Seattle should be able to take advantage of it. This Washington offense will be really reliant on their receivers this week but Seattle has a real opportunity to shut them down and keep the crazy NFC East playoff race alive.

Prediction #5- The Chiefs will win by double digits on the road in New Orleans

The Chiefs vs the Saints is clearly the game of the week and it could be even a preview of this year’s super bowl. However, this week feels like a mismatch to me more than other people realize. The Chiefs are fully healthy coming off of a few lackluster victories against the Broncos and the Dolphins. We saw what they did to the Bucs when the whole world was watching, and I have a feeling it’s a similar result against the Saints. Even though QB Drew Brees is back in the lineup, he is missing his top receiver in Michael Thomas. They will have to lean on the running game in this one, where the Chiefs actually have a weakness, but I believe the offense will be too much for the Saints at home.
