The 2020-2021 NFL came to end on Sunday with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beating the Kansas City Chiefs. Now we look ahead to next season and the teams that will be at the top to start the season:
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs are the defending Super Bowl Champions with one of the best rosters in the league. They will certainly go into next season as one of the top teams. I believe how the Bucs looked down the stretch of last season, they deserve to be number one to start the year.
2. Green Bay Packers
Green Bay is coming off back-to-back 13 win seasons and they have last season’s MVP, Aaron Rodgers. The Packers have a great group of young players and look like they will continue to get better. Matt Lafleur is now going into his third season with more experience. Rodgers will also get more comfortable in that offense. This will help them be a contender in 2021 and beyond.

3. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs will be back next season; they have one of the most talented rosters in the league. They will also get their two starting offensive linemen back that they lost in the playoffs due to injuries. We also can’t forget about Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and that offense. I expect the Chiefs to be the team to beat in The AFC.
4. Buffalo Bills
Last season, the Bills took off and became contenders in The AFC, adding Stefon Diggs was a huge boost for the Bills this season. Allen, Bills quarterback, and Diggs were one of the best duos this season. Josh Allen has also continued to develop throughout his career and is looking he’s making his way to being a Superstar QB. Let’s see if the Bills can build off the momentum they had last season.
5. Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson is one of the talented players in the league. He finally won his first playoff game last night last season versus the Titans in Super Wild Card weekend. Baltimore’s defense is one of the top defenses in the league. Marlon Humphrey is one of the most underrated players in the league and Patrick Queen looks to build off his success in his rookie season. Look out for the Ravens next season.
